We all have faced that moment of frustration. Your kid is all dressed up in the PERFECT, and I mean perfect, outfit. He or she is in that one outfit that you just know is going to get posted and reposted on all of the feature sites if you can just nail the perfect shot.

And then your kid runs away and down the street (in the snow), and you’re left calling out their name and running behind them, lugging a bag or two, your camera and both of your jackets. Nightmare. A buh-bye.
How (in the f) do you keep your child engaged during a photoshoot?
I know you have all seen those kids that always seem to be hopped up on sugar. Every single frame hosts a photo of them with a lollipop hanging out of their mouth. I get it. Sugar talks and bribery is effective. Many a great photo has been taken on the premise of a bribe. If it works, great. Don't fix what ain't broke.
We all have our phones on us at all times, anyway, right? (If you say no, I’m going to call you a liar right now. LIAR.) Open up that spotify or pandora app and put it on blast. You may look like a lunatic if you're trying to snap photos on a public street, but I guarantee that your photos will be much more fun and engaging. I love seeing children smile whilst being fashionable, don't you?
If you're already doing this, what's your favorite (or your kids favorite) jam to pose to? My son gets down to "Safe and Sound" by Captial Cities.
